Moji Ajele, CEC, M.Eng., MBA, DBA Candidate

Moji Ajele is a dynamic executive coach, business leader, and lifelong learner whose journey reflects a profound commitment to empowering others. Beginning her university education at the remarkable age of 14, she earned a master’s degree in civil engineering, laying the groundwork for her passion for systems thinking and efficiency.

Her professional path has been diverse and impactful. After serving as an assistant lecturer at the University of Ilorin, Moji immigrated to Canada in 1990. There, she dedicated herself to educating her four children through homeschooling, guiding them through their high school years. This period refined her skills in mentorship and leadership, which she later applied to the business world.

In 2011, Moji became the Executive Director and Franchise Owner of BNI Alberta South, the world’s largest referral networking organization. Under her leadership, the region experienced significant growth, expanding by over 400% in just three years. Her contributions have been recognized with multiple accolades, including “Executive Director of the Year,” the “Giver’s Gain” award five times over 11 years, and the prestigious BNI Founder’s Award for global leadership in November 2022, presented by Dr. Ivan Misner.

Moji’s dedication to continuous learning led her to pursue further education in executive coaching, earning certifications from Asentive and Royal Roads University. She is currently a doctoral student at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, where her research focuses on the potential impact of artificial intelligence on small businesses.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Moji is deeply committed to her family and community. Married for 37 years to her childhood sweetheart, Dele, they have traveled to 23 countries, engaging in speaking, coaching, and training business owners worldwide. Their two grandchildren bring joy and inspiration to their lives.

Moji’s coaching philosophy centers on authenticity, empathy, and strategic growth. She specializes in areas such as relationship building, emotional intelligence, effective communication, and strategic design. Her approach is non-directive, partnering with clients to uncover their inner wisdom and achieve their goals.

An avid reader, Moji explores topics in health, business, and personal growth. She finds solace in nature and delights in crafting global recipes, reflecting her appreciation for diverse cultures.
